All black for final day of the convention I went to a few weeks ago. I wanted to have a minimum of pieces to bring with me for this outfit so the Physical Drop dress won. I've been wanting to wear this bonnet with it since last summer and finally made it happen. 

My friends joined me this day in lolita and we wanted to match as much as possible, so we wore all black or almost all black, with gray hair. Another friend joined us for bubble tea, taught us to play a card game called Lotus, and afterward he took photos of us on a fancy staircase just outside the game room. I lent Paupples a hair accessory and Dre wants to raid my closet next, and now they're calling me their frill mom. Even the friend who taught us the card game (and is as unapologetically fabulous as I wish I were) expressed interest in matching us next time we do this, in a complementary masculine style. I can't wait.
