An outfit for exploring The House on the Rock, a house full of strange art and architecture likely built to give a figurative middle finger to Frank Lloyd Wright. It is weird and whimsical and a little creepy. My favorite parts were the stained glass windows and lamps, an absolutely enormous sculpture of a whale and a kraken fighting in the ocean, the music rooms full of orchestras' worth of instruments rigged up to play songs when you put a coin in a box, and of course the giant carousel (which is indoors!) that was featured in the book and TV show American Gods.

I wore an old school doll-like outfit to match the multi-tiered carousels full of vintage dolls that are in the last section of the house. Personally I'm not scared of dolls but hundreds and hundreds of them in dimly lit rooms still feels a little creepy to me.
