My outfit for summer International Lolita Day! Early summer feels like the perfect time to wear purple and white. Shout out to the irises and flowering weeds (especially the dame’s rocket) in my yard probably subconsciously fueling that thought.

It seems Romantic Little Garden was a popular choice for this particular International Lolita Day. I saw photos on Instagram of at least five other people who wore it, and we even collectively wore all the colorways!

I had a frilly fun day with two of my best friends, and the weather was perfect. We went to a lunch time tea service, walked in the botanical gardens (and filled my figurative "common muggle reactions to lolita fashion" bingo card in the span of 45 minutes: what play are we in, nice costumes, Little Bo Peep, you name it someone said it to us), and then went to the barcade where I had a grapefruit rose vodka tonic and fell in love with the game DeathBall.
