A fancier coordinate for Day 1 of The Great Lace. This year’s event theme was “garden in the city” and I thought this would match nicely, and I was excited to finally wear it somewhere. I was originally going to wear it with more red and gold and came up with something I liked, but decided I should prioritize comfort since I knew I’d probably be wearing it all day and defaulted to mostly the way I wore it before since I knew I'd be comfortable. I still added a little more red than I did last time to make it a little different.
I spent my day shopping in the vendor hall (thank goodness I lined up fairly early), attending the fashion show (there was a live string quartet!), attending Atelier Pierrot's panel, and running into lots of online mutuals and making a few new acquaintances. I got to meet and hold thee Mattress at the Mossbadger booth (and even got a badge ribbon!!) The Black Ribbon was teasing their new Bernadette mascot plush bags before the event and knew I wanted one, and I was thankfully fast enough to get one. I love how grumpy she looks, and the weight of her paws. I wore another angry bear (Lavendorium keychain on my badge lanyard) so they could be angry together.
