Outfit for Day 2 of The Great Lace! There was some morning programming followed by a tea party in the afternoon. I chose to wear Atelier Pierrot because they were the brand guest of honor at the event, and because this OP matched the diamond bonnet I've had forever and hadn't worn yet. A fancy tea party felt like a good occasion for a big bonnet. I accidentally left the necklace I originally planned to wear at home, but Haenuli and Iris Garden were selling their Marie Antoinette necklaces I was strongly considering to buy anyway, so I bought one, and this was a great first opportunity to wear it. It's surprisingly versatile for a very fancy statement piece.
I waited in line to meet RinRin Doll and take a photo with her! It's a good thing I did, too, because I had not realized that at her booth she was selling her collaboration items with Apolia, a Japanese accessory brand that I have been excitedly following for a while. I ended up buying a choker and RinRin asked me to be in a photo and short video with it so she could show it to Apolia's designer (!!) I hope my love for Apolia showed through. I really appreciate her sense for combining detailed elements and lots of colors and textures.
