A tea service? In MY city?? SOLD! I invited my friend that I invited to tea at my house earlier in the year, and he was more than happy to take the afternoon off work to join me. It was Jane Austen themed, and they even had live music! I felt it was very nice for what we got. I didn’t have anything regency looking to wear so I wore this because it was a long high waisted dress.
Afterward we went grocery shopping for supplies to make holiday treats, and I delighted and confused people in the store and parking lot. I ran into one of my old neighbors, who recognized me even with a wig on, but he knew about my fancy dresses and I’m probably the only person he knows who is, so that narrowed it down a lot. Someone else got very excited and told me I looked like a Christmas tree, lol. Another woman yelled from a car window that she liked my lolita dress (people in my city know what this is?!)
