It’s finally feeling like spring where I live and it’s May tomorrow (already!) so it’s time to bust out this outfit with lilies of the valley for May Day.

I have been in awe of this headdress ever since I first saw it, and after a couple of scares looking like it was no longer for sale, I opened a Taobao order just so that I could get it along with a bunch of other Hoshibako Works accessories I’d been admiring. The mix of ornate classical natural themes and vintage vibes is so lovely. A friend was visiting the day they were delivered and she commented that they look like things Sakizo would draw, and I happily agree with that opinion.
