I wanted to try this underbust cut from Metamorphose since they made it in plus size, and I ended up really liking it. My favorite part about the dress is its contrast color lining! It is fun to see the blue lining color a little bit through the printed fabric. I also really love the sleeves on the blouse, puffed at the top with ribbon lacing down the arm. I am SO glad I splurged on buying this blouse new. To bring out the blue parts of the print, I chose blue socks and jewelry. I also wanted to take photos with the little blue scilla flowers blooming on the ground to enjoy them before the rain and snow got to them.

This outfit is named for a music piece of the same name (儀式, “Ceremony”) in the Secret of Mana/Seiken Densetsu 2 soundtrack that I have liked since I was a child. It plays in the two sets of haunted church ruins. You can hear it here (link opens in new window).
