Happy international lolita day! I pulled out this idea from last summer because it's finally cold enough to wear velvet and I wanted to wear a bonnet. 

I told my husband that I was sad I could not travel for ILD this year, and he offered to take me on a date! We went to a coffee shop for lunch and the young man behind the counter complimented on my "visor", lol. Guess I've got 🅱️ig 🅱️isor Energy. This burgundy velveteen bonnet from Vierge Vampur (a small Japanese brand) has a crown printed on the brim and a giant bow on the back! I got it to match this HMHM dress and luckily they just so happen to be the same shade of purpley brown wine velvet with yellow gold accents.

After lunch, we headed to the art museum. There was a horn ensemble playing a concert in the lobby, so we even had music to listen to while we looked at all the paintings and sculptures. I found my favorite wooden chair for pictures. The sun and I happened to be in just the right spots, and my husband was there to capture it. Natural lens flare, whee!
