Video game inspired coord for MAGfest (Music and Games Festival), where my partner performed with his band. I'm not a cosplayer but I love the challenge of recreating character vibes and outfits based on things I already have.
Any other Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 fans? I immediately fell in love with one of Maelle's alternate outfits and since the game is very popular right now, I thought it'd be a great choice for the event. As soon as I finished getting ready I caught the end of the community concert in the hotel atrium (~200 people, a full choir and orchestra!) and it felt really awesome to step out of the elevator to hear the choir launch into a Clair Obscur song. I saw a saxophone quartet that played another of my favorite songs from the game. I went to an Expedition 33 cosplay meetup and got gifted a flower, some badge ribbons, and a tiny bottle of wine. A+ experience. I'd love to go again.
