The lilacs in the university's arboretum were blooming (one of the best parts of a northern spring!) and my sister and I went to see them and have a nice long leisurely walk. There were also lots of flowering crab apple and magnolia trees. This tree is my favorite place in the whole garden and I was glad to get a photo on the bench under the flowers. The weather was beautiful and all the flowers smelled so good.
