I wore this for treating myself to fancy tea in Milwaukee in the middle of a gaming convention. I'm always excited for a dress with actual functional pockets! This one caught my eye for that as well as all its pretty sewing details. So many little pintucks. The purple and pink combination is lovely too. Right before I got up to leave, I overheard someone at the next table comment on me and how I was just “over there living her best life” (in a nice way, not a backhanded way) and…yes, exactly. That’s what dressing up and bringing yourself to fancy tea is all about.
But perhaps my favorite comment was from another fashion forward person on the street right outside the hotel. We love compliments from fellow alt fashion homies.
