Comfy gothic style outfit for hosting a power metal livestream concert at my house last week! The show was originally supposed to be in Chicago but one of the bands from Canada couldn't get into the US as planned, so my partner invited the rest of the bands to our home to play the show instead since they were already in the area from the east coast (they drove) and we had everything set up for streaming live shows. It would have been hot and uncomfortable to wear this for the original show in a crowded space with hundreds of people, but not having to leave my house made the choice to dress up very easy.

I had already introduced one of the bands to lolita/EGL fashion earlier because we hosted them the previous week and chatted about hobbies. The singer from the other band saw me and correctly recognized it right away, which is always a pleasant surprise. It was a very fun night. It was a week ago now and my heart is still so full and I am still so happy.
