I came up with this outfit to shoot a video for Royal Vegas Online's fashion walk. The theme was "royalty: in your castle". I love this print (Memories Garden from Metamorphose) so much I have it in two cuts and colorways, and the ruffled front of this cut and the roses on the print felt particularly fancy and regal to me. I styled it with lots of lace and see-through items for a mature look. I don't have a big sparkly crown for my head, but I have one for my neck! The big bonnet and flowers on my head are my crown. I'm really happy the flower crown matches so well. I made it at my friend's bridal shower in January (the floral headband crafting table was such a fun idea!) and it reminds me of happier times.

This outfit also reminds me of victory. Immediately after we finished shooting the video, we got some really good news (and some hilarious related news), and my neighbor was so excited she invited us to shoot off fireworks in her driveway because of it. I will never forget that, because she’s not normally the type of person to want to do that.
