I never liked spring much as a child because it's cold and muddy and not great for playing outside, but the older I get the more I appreciate each little sign of things coming back to life. It's been very slow to warm up this year and I can't wait for all the flowers to come back so I decided to wear some.

This outfit features a couple of really cool indie items. I love the shape of the bonnet, the look of the lace ruffle in the front when worn, and how lightweight and comfortable it is for how much decoration it has. I've been wearing the necklace with my normie clothes since I got it at the beginning of the year but thought it looked nice with this fancy dress. The more flowers, the merrier, and the better to comfort myself about the fourth winter we're allegedly going to have this weekend.
