Azuki's Wardrobe 2020: Detail Photos and Stories

2020 WARDROBE DETAIL SHOTS AND STORIES

I tried to post all of the detail shots and stories in the main wardrobe post, but apparently it was too long and it broke the functionality of the automated features of my blog, which is really annoying because I only found that out after preparing everything. So I moved it here instead! Enjoy.

Standing Collar Princess OP (Physical Drop, 2017)
One of my very favorite pieces. I love the giant sleeves and oldschool Meta feel (not surprising since the designer for Physical Drop founded Metamorphose). I missed out on this at its initial release, and then by some miracle their factory was cleaning up several months later and found another one of them in the colorway I wanted most, and put it up for sale. I've never emailed someone more frantically in my life. [reference link]

Rose Perpetuelle Gilet Style Cutsew OP (Maxicimam Lovely, 2018)
Something simple and comfy that I bought for more casual wear, and I've already worn it twice in the few months I've owned it. Like my other Maxicimam Lovely size dress, it feels great to have something designed specifically to fit a plus size body. [reference link]

Shirring Princess JSK (Baby the Stars Shine Bright, 201x)
This standard JSK cut has been released many times in black/black but as yet I'm unable to find a release year for this particular combination of features. This one is made of cotton and has flower shaped waist tie buttons, double sided lace on the hem, satin ribbon shoulder bows, and lace on only one side of the shoulder straps (the other side is wider and has a fabric ruffle). I thought it might be a replica at first but it doesn't seem like one because I found pictures of a pink/white one with these exact same features. It is from no later than spring 2017, and was not made in Japan like many older releases so that points to a more recent time period, probably no earlier than 2010. Its slightly wonky design makes me think it was a lucky pack item but if it is I haven't found what year it's from. It still functions like the other Shirring Princess JSK releases though, and I'm excited to own this comfy, detailed dress for all-black outfits.

Frill Circle Skirt (FanPlusFriend, 2008)
I'm not sure how old this exact piece is, but Fanplusfriend (the OG Chinese brand and one of the earliest to offer custom sizing) started selling this design in 2008. I love all the ruffles and the wide tulle lace on the bottom. I bought it to wear as an underskirt for an apron skirt that's in the works. [reference link]

Trois Ribbon JSK (Enchantlic Enchantilly, 2013)
I retook the photo of this one now that I know how to light and edit my photos better, and remembered to put the bows on this time. I usually wear it without the bows. It's still one of my favorite solid pieces with all its beautiful details and textures. [reference link]

Angel Wing A Line OP (Antigones MR, 2017)
I discovered MR earlier this year and was completely smitten with the big lace angel wings on the back of many of their dresses. I also really love the layered coordinates on their social media, with corsets and such under the sheer layer. I thought this one would fit so I bought it, but I might trade it in for a different cut when it comes up because the arm holes seem to be cut a little small for me. [reference link]

Bunny's Sweet Wonderland Sailor Skirt (Maxicimam, 2015)
An impulse buy because I've always wanted to try sailor style, and the bunny tail bow is detachable so I could wear it as a normal sailor skirt. Still not sure how well it suits me. This sailor skirt is unique in that the waistband is fully elasticized but it still has pleats! I also love the lace on the bottom hem. I also bought a Maxicimam Lovely sailor blouse to match when it appeared secondhand. [reference link]

Shirring JSK (Baby the Stars Shine Bright, 2007)
Bought very cheaply to have something simple to throw on quickly, and it's turned into something I wear a lot because I'm getting into old school style. This release from 2007 has a double edged lattice cotton lace, pintucks above the lace, and two rows of ruffles on the bottom hem. [reference link]

Short Sleeve Shirring OP (Metamorphose, 2001)
Easily one of my favorite dresses I got this year. I finally have a legit oldschool black and white piece, with the wing cross raschel lace to boot. [reference link]

Alice and Bambi Shirring OP (Baby the Stars Shine Bright, 2004)
One of those old school pieces that popped up unexpectedly and I had to snap up immediately when I saw it. The print is iconic. This particular one has a bunch of discolored spots and the print is a gray toned ivory that doesn't match a lot of my wardrobe but I still love it, and it fits me surprisingly well. [reference link]

Lurex Raschel Lace Shirring JSK (Metamorphose, 2014)
Bought because it was incredibly affordable and I wanted a lace dress. It's really comfy and I often turn to it for more casual wear. I finally got the matching bonnet in 2019 and look forward to dressing it up a little more. [reference link]

Amaretto Ribbon JSK (Baby the Stars Shine Bright, 2012)
A fancier black and white old school style dress with lots of lace. Finding that I really have a thing for tiered skirts (especially ones where the bottom edge of each layer is loose instead of sewn into the tier below it) and I think they look nice on me. I really need to wear this again. The one time I wore it was when I was incredibly sick at a convention so I didn't really have the energy to enjoy it. I don't even have pictures (though a couple of people I didn't know asked to take some, haha). I'm not even sure how I had the energy to put on a wig that day. Then again, maybe looking cute gave me the strength to get through the day. It deserves some more happy memories. [reference link]

Night in the Devil's Castle JSK II (Alice and the Pirates, 2016)
I saw this print on a number of other people and loved it, so decided to get it for myself. I'm not sure about the fit of the top part but it somehow seems to look OK worn, and it's comfortable. I have a coordinate all planned out for this now, and just need somewhere to wear it. Gonna love looking like a sweet romantic goth vampire. [reference link]

Drained Cherry Tiered JSK (Angelic Pretty, 2015)
I had admired the blue colorway of this dress for a while but bought the black one when it came up for a good price. It's one of my go-to dresses in warm weather. I love the swishy noise the skirt makes when I move in it. [reference link]

Strawberry Tart JSK (Baby the Stars Shine Bright, 2012)
This was my very first Lace Market purchase! I have kind of fallen out of love with it, but I think the pies are keeping me from letting it go. It's a unique color palette for a sweeter strawberry dress in that there's no green. [reference link]

Dozing Cat Hakama Tuck JSK (Metamorphose, 2015)
Traditional Japanese prints AND cats!! I don't usually buy things new on release but I absolutely couldn't refuse this one. The copious use of the checkerboard pattern in such starkly contrasting colors is a bit loud for my usual taste but as someone who claims Metamorphose is their favorite brand, sometimes you just have to lean into it even when you're not totally sure about it. This is the only dress I woke up in the middle of the night to participate in a bloodbath for, and I emerged victorious. The flopped-over cats on the border print are my favorite detail, followed closely by the camellia on the shoulder bow. [reference link]

Romantic Kimono Hakama Tuck JSK (Metamorphose, 2014)
I had always casually wanted this print because of its arrow feather background print (one of my very favorite traditional patterns) and black-red-green color scheme, and when it came up for a not-outrageously-expensive price along with a matching headdress I got it. Compared to Dozing Cat it feels a little less sturdy, and I think they were still sort of figuring out the nuances of this very detailed cut at that point. Someone I recently met remarked that this cut looks good on just about any body type and height, and the more I think about it, the more I agree. If you ever want to try walolita, dresses in this hakama tuck cut would be a great place to start. [reference link]

The Beauties of Nature Pleated JSK with Vine Print Ribbon (Metamorphose, 2018)
One of my first purchases of 2019, and one of the few I've bought brand new at initial release. I fell in love with the color scheme (bright colors + red on black) and the pretty lace details. The waist ties are reversible! One side is solid black with wide black lace running vertically, and the other is a traditional Japanese crane-temari-floral print. It feels more formal and mature than the other Japanese print dresses I have, probably because it's got a lot of solid black and the waist bow is smaller. [reference link]

Sugar Bouquet JSK (Baby the Stars Shine Bright, 2005)
One of my very favorite strawberry prints, and easy to dress up fancy or more casual, and it even works for old school style. Super versatile. The bustle makes it even better. [reference link]

Happy Cake Skirt (Metamorphose, 2006)
I bought this because I love love love the print on this skirt and got it for a steal, but it is too small for me. I am planning to alter it either by putting in a bustle panel or hopefully finding another one just like it and splicing them together. [reference link]

Märchen Ribbon Back Frill JSK (Angelic Pretty, 2011)
I didn't think much of this print at first but then I fell in love with it after seeing someone wearing it at a meetup. The pink bows on black is just so striking and fancy. You can't really tell there's a bustle on the back though unless you look closely since the rows of bows line up so neatly with the tiers. [reference link]

Miracle Candy Going Out JSK (Angelic Pretty, 2010)
One of my very first dream dresses. This is my #1 favorite candy print, and the one I wanted most because of the full border print. Even though it's a little small, I just can't bring myself to part with it. I think I may get it altered so the bodice is bigger. The waist ties are pretty short and I usually don't wear them anyway. [reference link]

Sweets Time Shirring JSK (Metamorphose, 2009)
Another long sought after dress that I got for a really good price. It's more loud and cutesy than many of the things I wear now so I may sell it, but I'm glad that I bought it to see it in person. [reference link]

Wonder Card/Card Playing Kitty Sweet Heart JSK (Metamorphose, 2012)
My favorite details on this dress are the black cats (probably because I have a black cat and I love her so much, though these look more fluffy than she does) and the big embroidered hearts. It is too small so I'm planning to turn this into an apron skirt so I can actually wear it. [reference link]

Perfume Bottle Frill Skirt (Metamorphose, 2010)
I bought this because it was cheap and I loved the butterflies and jewelry in gold/pink/blue on black, and I've worn it casually a couple of times. The waist is a little tight but I could put a slightly longer elastic in the waist without much trouble. It originally was sold in a lucky pack. [reference link]

Swan Embroidery Skirt (Metamorphose, 2007)
I don't have good pictures of this because it's currently in pieces awaiting alteration, but the solid color with elaborate embroidery sold me on this skirt, and the price was really good too. [reference link]

Rabbit Shirring OP (Sweet Mildred, 2017)
I saw the print on this dress and had to have it. It's really well made and quite comfortable, and easy to dress up or down, though I usually wear it more casually. [reference link]

Lily Cross Babydoll OP (Triple Fortune, 2017)
This dress is the most recent addition to my closet. I am not sure what led me to decide I like this print since it's pretty mature and formal for my usual taste. Maybe my tastes are finally moving farther away from sweet. It reminds me of my partner's grandmothers because both of them were pretty religious, but also because when we were making the flower corsages for family at my wedding, I made one with a big white lily. My mom was concerned that it might be a little too big but I told her I knew exactly who would pick that one. I was not there to see it but my told me that sure enough, my partner's grandma immediately chose the giant lily. Both grandmothers passed recently and this somehow feels like a good if subconscious way to honor their memory and what they have taught me. It came without the belt so I borrowed the one from the Lily of the Valley OP since the color matches nicely. [reference link]

Halloween Alice JSK (Baby the Stars Shine Bright, 2013)
I had admired the Halloween Alice print for a long time but knew my chances of buying it were slim because there's only one cut that would fit and only one colorway I wanted. I got lucky and it popped up last year for a very affordable price! Still haven't managed to wear it for Halloween but maybe that will happen this year. [reference link]

Secret Eden Special Set JSK, Mini Length (Metamorphose, 2014)
After seeing a particularly pretty coordinate with this print I wanted to get it for myself, and early in the year I saw one appear for sale for a good price (I had seen a couple of others others but it was priced much higher than I wanted to spend). The print is more of a blue gray than the greenish blue I was expecting, but it actually looks better on me that way. The cut looks really nice on me too! I have a couple of coordinates planned with this but they're both kind of fancy, so I'm waiting for a good opportunity to bust them out. Mini length because I am short gorl. [reference link]

Fantasy Parade Shirring JSK (Metamorphose, 2017)
Somewhat of an impulse buy. When I was looking for a pointy buildings border print dress I had it narrowed down to the Atelier Pierrot Night Church JSK or this one, and I bought Night Church but it wasn't blue enough for my tastes, so I just bought this one too even though it cost a little more than I wanted to spend. It's comfy and subtlely cute with heart shaped fireworks and I love the tiny pops of red with the flags on top of the spires. I had not realized it was cotton rather than polyester, quite the pleasant surprise when I received it. [reference link]

Princess Crown Bouquet Shirring JSK (Metamorphose, 2009)
One of my first dream dresses, wanted primarily because of the black and blue color scheme with roses with a cut that would fit. I don't wear it as often as I'd like but I love the whole mood of the print. It's definitely for a princess and not a queen, elegant but innocent. [reference link]

Night Church JSK (Atelier Pierrot, 2016)
I made the Lolibrary entry for this back in 2016 and wasn't attracted to it at all then, but I think playing Bloodstained (the totally-not-Castlevania video game by the original creator of Castlevania) made me want a dress with a church on it. It's more purple and less blue than I had hoped, but I really liked the tryon coordinate I made with it. I have to lengthen the straps. I think this may be one of the things I wear to Paradiso since Atelier Pierrot will be a guest there! [reference link]

Sweets Parade Mini Skirt (Metamorphose, 2012)
I was drawn to this print because of the ice cream and candy stripes, and then I found out there are even little bears on it! I don't wear this much anymore (I think because I've since gotten a lot of my dream items that this was a sort of place holder for) but I still think it's cute. [reference link]

Cat Border/Melody Cat Mini Skirt (Metamorphose, 2012)
The black and purple colorway of this print is perfection. I wear this very casually with normal clothes and people always get excited when they realize there are cats on it. I got this very early in 2019 when it appeared for sale, but my dream always was to have the Frill JSK cut in this colorway. I finally found it a couple of weeks ago and purchased it but it hasn't arrived yet. I will still keep this, though, because it brings me such joy. [reference link]

Crown of the Violet Princess Skirt (Enchantlic Enchantilly, 2019)
I have always wanted a violet print on black but didn't particularly like any of the ones I knew of, and then this print got released. I love it so much I used it for my episode of the Dreamy Coordinate podcast! I am strongly considering getting it altered into an OP because it is a bit too long for me as-is and I prefer the look of a dress vs. a skirt. [reference link]

Tartan Shirring Princess JSK (Baby the Stars Shine Bright, 2009)
I wanted a tartan dress in this cut with a bustle that was neither black nor white. This limited my options significantly, but I really liked the look of this brown one and waited for one to appear. This one had significant wear and stretching of the elastic, but the price was so good that I didn't mind, and it's easy to wear this without worrying about messing it up. [reference link]

Country of Sweets Shirring JSK (Angelic Pretty, 2011)
Bought this early in my lolita journey because of its cute sweets print. I haven't worn it much and I've slowly fallen out of love with it, but the gingerbread houses and polka dots are just so cute. [reference link]

Classic Fairy Tales JSK (Angelic Pretty, 2015)
It seems like this was only mildly popular when it was initially released but has significantly increased in popularity recently, maybe due to Tyler/ScarfingScarves (of Last Week Lolita News fame). I was only casually into it and bought it because the price was good, but ended up really loving it when I got to see it in person after it arrived. I love the forest theme, mature color scheme, and fruit and forest animal print. [reference link]

Royal Stripe JSK (Metamorphose, 2019)
Kind of an impulse buy but I've always wanted a striped dress. The colorway is pink, but it's kind of a dusty mauve and a cool toned brown, understated and mature. I could see making this chocolate themed. THE POCKETS ARE FUNCTIONAL! You love to see it. I bought the matching beret because it was really affordable, and it looks better on me than I thought it would. [reference link]

Princess Honey's Tea Salon Gathered Bodice JSK (Baby the Stars Shine Bright, 2012)
A dream dress that appeared for sale the day I was hosting a tea party in March 2017. I like the lattice pattern and soft color scheme. [reference link]

Classical Velveteen Chandelier Embroidery JSK (HMHM, 2009)
This was made to order to my measurements. I had admired it for a while and finally decided to buy it for myself for my birthday in 2016 (though they have sold this design since 2009). It took me a while to really appreciate it because it's not as poofy as my other dresses, but I grew to love it after I got a Vierge Vampur bonnet that I thought was wine red velvet, and at first I was disappointed that it wasn't the color I anticipated, but then I noticed it just happened to be the very same shade of purplish brown-red as this dress. [reference link]

Rejeana Velveteen JSK, Mini Length (Metamorphose, 2016)
Short length for smol bean. I was about to sell this but then put together a coordinate I really loved and now I want to at least wear that before it goes. Still searching for the perfect velvet dress for me. [reference link]

Flim Flam Brass Band JSK (Alice and the Pirates, 2015)
Another dream dress acquired! I have been wanting a music themed dress ever since starting lolita, and I finally have one that fits my aesthetics and body. There's a really badass looking drum major Alice on the print, and I have considered making an outfit that looks like the one she's wearing on this dress (which means I'd have to wear something else though, haha). It looks much more wine colored in real life than in the stock photos. [reference link]

Shirring JSK (Baby the Stars Shine Bright, 2009)
I had wanted an all-red dress for quite some time so when this appeared for sale with a matching headdress, I pounced. Red is one of my favorite colors to wear. I have worn two coordinates with it already that I feel happy about. [reference link]

Candy Bottle OP (Metamorphose, 2016)
I used to own the shirring JSK in green, but I'm realizing I have a weakness for candy prints in red. The star candies in particular drew me to this for some reason. I also fell in love with the buttons on it after taking the detail shot for this wardrobe post. I plan to wear a maid style coordinate with this dress sometime this year now that I have everything I need for it. [reference link]

Heart Marguerite ~The Love Hidden in My Heart~ JSK II (Baby the Stars Shine Bright, 2017)
Rather sweet and cutesy for my usual style, but there's something about daisies I'll always love. I like the color palette of this JSK (red + pink + white + pastel yellow, green, blue), and I believe the cut is the same as the Stardust Fantasia JSK I have come to love so much. Hearts are also a perennial favorite motif of mine. I made a daisy crown to match another dress I ended up selling, but it will match perfectly with this. Spring and summer, here I come. [reference link]

Miracle Candy Triple Frill JSK (Angelic Pretty, 2009)
One of my very first dream dresses. This is my #1 favorite candy print. I have the other back shirring cut in black, and used to have this one in black too. This cut in particular is really fluffy with its tiered skirt, and the diagonal stripe accents are just so wonderful that I don't even mind that it doesn't have the full border print. So far I've worn it once to a Christmas meet because it reminded me of a candy cane (and it even has candy canes on it, haha). [reference link]

Sweet Ribbon Strawberry Shirring JSK (Angelic Pretty, 2008)
Quite a few strawberry prints have come and gone from my closet in the last 6 years but this is the one I don't want to let go. It's just so bright and happy and comfortable, and it's got hearts on it too. If I ever see it in black I might get that one too. [reference link]

Kimono Print Marie JSK and Headdress (Metamorphose, 2017)
I'm a huge fan of traditional Japanese motifs and this one is exceptionally colorful. Bright red arrow print? Retro style coloring and ladder lace with bright yellow ribbon? SOLD. The ribbon is a rich golden yellow in person. I have a pretty weeby coordinate in mind for this one but I am not ashamed. The biggest, happiest surprise with this set was the charms. I was casually admiring it after receiving it and then I noticed THE PEARL CHARM HAS A CAT DANGLING OFF IT. The headdress also has cat charms hanging from the bows. [reference link]

Collection Douce Chocolatier Praline JSK (Baby the Stars Shine Bright, 2014)
Totally slept on this release when it was first released but after seeing the print closer very early this year I came to like it, and the price was really good when I saw it for sale. Some people don't like pink and red mixed together but I personally love it. This is probably my favorite chocolate themed dress that I've ever seen, and I'm looking forward to wearing it for Valentine's Day. [reference link]

Bunny's Sparkly Droplet Rendezvous JSK (Baby the Stars Shine Bright, 2014)
An impulse buy that I fell in love with because of its color palette, but the details sold me on it even more after it arrived. I never thought of myself as a bunny person but here I am in 2020 and now I guess I'm owning it. Scallop hem dresses don't usually come in cuts with lots of shirring and I feel lucky to have found one that does! [reference link]

Polka Dot Bustle Shirring OP (Metamorphose, 2006)
An impulse buy, as many old school purchases are because you can never expect things this old to show up; they just do, and you have to be ready, especially since there are so many more people looking for them now, and especially for pieces with lots of shirring because the elastic tends to get worn out after this many years in existence. I usually wear pink as an accent color rather than a main color, but I ended up loving how this looks on me. It is absolutely covered in lace, and the bustle back is super pretty. I showed it to my non-lolita sister and she said "it gives me Little House on the prairie vibes". lol. [reference link]

Candy Shower A Line OP (Metamorphose, 2014)
I loved this print as soon as it was released because of its bright rainbow colors, and while there is a red colorway, I think the white colorway shows them off the best. I don't usually go for white dresses but for me there's enough pink and other colors. I was also not sure about the cut, but for the price I paid I was willing to give it a shot and was pleasantly surprised. I have some good memories with this dress and would love to wear it again. [reference link]

Polly's Garden of Dreams JSK (Baby Ponytail, 2018)
There's just something about the giant print of the girl and the owl. It looks like a Macoto Takahashi illustration, and also (to me) like the brand's owner. I first fell in love with the light blue colorway of this dress but when the ivory colorway popped up in my size, I decided to try it out. This is my first Baby Ponytail dress and I am really, really impressed with the quality as well as the extended sizing. I have a couple of ideas for coordinating this dress already and hope to wear it in the spring and early summer. However, I'm gonna need a long petticoat first since this thing is nearly ankle length on me. [reference link]

Lily of the Valley Babydoll OP (Triple Fortune, 2017)
My first Triple Fortune dress and a dream dress I had on my list for quite some time. I really like lily of the valley flowers, and I love the pretty green tones of this cut and the butterflies. This cut has been a little challenging to coordinate because of all the ruffles on the top but at least it looks good on me. [reference link]

Nostalgic Matryoshka Doll Lace Up JSK (Metamorphose, 2016)
Kind of an impulse buy when I saw a set of dress + socks + head scarf for cheap but I had been eyeing the print in red before that. I wasn't sure about this colorway because it's unusual for lolita but teal unexpectedly suits me quite well. The alpine maiden and retro mashup theme is cute. I like pairing it with red and have delusions of making a crochet flower headdress to wear with it. [reference link]

Rose Lace Bustle Corset OP (Atelier Pierrot, 2011)
I always wanted one of these because Kalafina has worn corset dresses from Atelier Pierrot for their live shows, but I'm coming to terms with the fact that they don't fit as well as I wish they would. I still think they're beautiful, though. [reference link]

Gingham Cherry Shirring JSK (Metamorphose, 2007)
I had admired this print for a long time (cherries!) but held out for this cut and colorway, and my patience was rewarded with a very affordable price. It's comfortable and cute. I'm finding I really like the combination of blue and red. The daisy headdress I made recently should also match this nicely if I ever want to really dress this up, though I normally wear it more casually. [reference link]

Classical Sucrerie JSK (Maxicimam Lovely, 2015)
This ticked a lot of want-to-try boxes for me: Maxicimam's Lovely size (plus size) dresses, a solid navy dress, an underbust style dress (the yoke detaches). I felt lucky it was so affordable. It's a weird feeling being plus sized and getting a lolita dress that feels TOO BIG. Maybe I'm just used to them feeling a little small? The shoulder straps on this are definitely too long for me, and it's a little longer than I'd like (I am plus sized but I am not at all tall) but I like its simplicity. I have a few coordinate ideas in mind already, and I'm most excited about the Snow White style idea I have. [reference link]

Pendant Lamp OP (Sheglit, 2016)
I fell in love with this dress after seeing the rusty red embroidery on navy and the fact that there are butterflies inside the lamps. I'm inexplicably attracted to red butterflies. Sadly the embroidery is not as high contrast as the stock photos make it look and you have to be up close to see it clearly, but for the person wearing it at least it's easy to enjoy? I have a coordinate all ready to go for this and even made matching accessories, just have to find an excuse to wear it somewhere. [reference link]

Kitten's Wonder Night Tea Party JSK II (Alice and the Pirates, 2016)
I bought this because I love the striped scallop decoration on the bodice and of course the cats! It's like the goth version of Cat's Tea Party, and infinitely more affordable. [reference link]

Stardust Fantasia ~Horoscope of Twin Star Kittens~ JSK II (Baby the Stars Shine Bright, 2015)
Another one of the few dresses I've bought new on release! The cats and stars and mildly Halloween theme all drew me to this, and it got me to try wearing lavender, which looks better on me than I thought if it's the right shade. Another dress with good memories, as I've twinned with my best lolita friend in it twice. [reference link]

Cotton Candy Shirring JSK (Metamorphose, 2012)
An older dream dress that I managed to nab with the matching hair combs. I love its combination of violet blue, black, and pastel rainbow. [reference link]

Submerged Roses Ribbon OP (Triple Fortune, 2016)
I fell in love with this dress after seeing someone wear it. The combination of dark purple and black with all the bright rainbow colors and black speaks to me on a spiritual level. I've always been fascinated by the look of colorful lights in the dark and stained glass windows, and that's likely what this reminds me of subconsciously. I spent half a day hunting for the name of this print! Information on Triple Fortune items can be hard to find since there aren't really many consistent sources, and through this experience I have been trying to enter lots of their items in Lolibrary to make it easier for everyone. I very nearly bought the skirt but then talked myself into waiting for what I really wanted, and the dress cut thankfully appeared a few months later. It's missing the belt, but it's better than no dress! [reference link]
